Potholes and Roads
Get West Lancashire’s roads fixed, and keep them fixed.
Bad roads are the single thing residents raise with us most. Cracked surfaces wreck cars, put cyclists in danger and stand as a daily reminder of years of managed decline. Fixing them is where credibility is won or lost.

Treat every pound of public money as if it were your own.
Every pound the council spends is your money, and you should keep more of it. Reform’s pitch is simple: value for money, an end to waste, and the lowest tax rises we can responsibly deliver.

Skelmersdale gave Reform its biggest breakthrough in West Lancashire. We will not take that trust for granted, and we will not let the town keep waiting for the investment it was promised.

Lancashire’s pothole queue cut by 42 per cent
Outstanding road defects across Lancashire fell from 61,063 in September 2024 to 35,514 in September 2025 under the Reform administration.

Lowest council tax rise in twelve years
The Reform-run county council’s 2026/27 budget held the council tax increase to 3.8 per cent, the lowest in twelve years, after two successive years of 4.99 per cent.

Seven Reform councillors elected for West Lancashire
At the May 2026 election Reform UK won seven seats on West Lancashire Borough Council from a standing start, becoming the council’s fourth-largest group, on top of four Reform county councillors covering the borough.
